Job Description

- Respond promptly to guest repair requests and maintenance calls
- Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment
- Inspect tools, machinery, and systems to identify faults or safety issues
- Carry out basic repairs on electrical fixtures, plumbing systems, air conditioning units, and guestroom equipment
- Handle surface preparation, minor painting, drywall repairs, and wood trim maintenance
- Replace light bulbs, air conditioning filters, switches, outlets, and related components
- Program televisions and support basic guestroom technology issues
- Maintain accurate maintenance inventory and request parts or supplies as required
- Communicate daily work activities and issues clearly across shifts
- Apply Lockout and Tagout procedures before maintenance tasks
- Support interior and exterior landscaping maintenance, including irrigation systems
- Follow safety, security, and operational procedures at all times
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic experience in general maintenance, painting, or building repairs
Prior hotel engineering or hospitality maintenance experience preferred
Valid driving license
Physically fit to handle lifting, climbing, bending, and manual tasks
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced hotel environment
Skills Setbr> br>Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and air conditioning systems
Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices
Ability to use hand tools and maintenance equipment safely
Basic computer skills for system inputs and scheduling
Clear communication and customer service awareness
