Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer - Execution (MEP Contracting)

Job Summary

As a Senior Electrical Engineer focused on execution in MEP contracting, you will be responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating the installation and commissioning of electrical systems in construction projects. Your role will involve overseeing on-site activities, ensuring quality control, and maintaining project timelines to deliver successful outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the on-site execution of electrical systems, including coordinating the installation process, overseeing subcontractors, and managing project schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure that electrical installations meet design specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Troubleshoot any technical issues that arise during the execution phase and implement effective solutions to minimize project delays.
• Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress, address challenges, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders involved.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the project team, including junior engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, to optimize performance and quality outcomes.
  
  

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.
• 15+ experience in the on-site execution of electrical systems within MEP contracting projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• In-depth knowledge of construction practices, electrical installation techniques, and quality control processes in the construction industry.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and coach team members, manage resources effectively, and drive project success.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
