Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Cary out regular maintenance and repair work on engines, modules, piece parts, including disassembly, cleaning, inspection, repair, and reassembly. Ensuring all tools and equipment are clean, organized, and in good working condition before starting any maintenance task.
- Ensure all allocated tasks given by lead Technician/Engineer and Line Manager are completed as per the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) data and EEMC documentation and procedures.br>
- Monitor the activities and work of peers and new technicians, where necessary provide mentoring and guidance to ensure that work with is carried out safely and efficiently.br>
- Complete tasks accurately by utilising knowledge of the engine overhaul process, company procedures as well as the use of the Engine shop manual ESM, Illustrated Parts catalogue (IPC), Component Maintenance Manual (CMM), ensuring paperwork and MRO ERP(IFS) system tasks are completed progressively and in accordance with company procedures.br>
- Ensure that attendance aligns with established shift patterns and that clock-in and clock-out times are accurately recorded for each task, actively preventing delays in Turnaround Time, and improving the performance and efficiency of technical operationsbr>
- Communicate effectively with clients or stakeholders about engine issues, repair progress, and maintenance recommendations.br>
- Ensure to stay updated on the latest company's engineering procedure Quality Assurance notes, technical notes, tools, and repair techniques through continuous education and training.br>
- Create a safe working environment by adhering safety standards and promptly reporting all safety hazards, events, and injuries.
Desired Candidate Profile
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Field or Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or equivalent training with a reputable airline or an approved aircraft maintenance organisation or Engineering Aircraft Maintenance License.
- Experience of 5+ years in aviation maintenance environment as an Aircraft / Engine Technician with a reputable Airline or MRO company.
- Experienced and competent in engine test preparation, inclusive of incoming / arrival inspections, installation and removal of test enabling hardware and components.
- Competent and experienced in defect rectification troubleshooting. Competent in test cell scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Competent and experienced with Reviewing, Understanding, Actioning Airworthiness Directives (AD's) and Service Bulletins (SB's).
