JOB CONTENTIt is with you, that industry can do it!We are currently seeking an ElectroMechanical Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electromechanical systems, equipment, and components in compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. The role ensures high equipment availability, reliability, and performance by integrating knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systemsKey Accountabilities & ResponsibilitiesExecute the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule and ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out on the electromechanical system in a timely manner in compliance with Company policies and procedures, customer specifications and industry standards Carry out corrective maintenance actions on both Mechanical and Electrical domains in response to machine failures involving diagnostic, diagnostic analysis and intervention work for the earliest possible commissioningInspect and service motors, drives, conveyors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and control circuitsReplace or refurbish worn mechanical parts (bearings, seals, shafts) and electrical components (relays, switches, fuses)Follow wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manualsPerform the administration, configuration, calibration, maintenance, programming, and qualification of assigned equipment / machinery as per established SOP sConduct repairs and maintenance on industrial equipment and any related equipment/machinery as per contractual/customer requirements and specifications Use knowledge of equipment/machinery and mechanical processes to troubleshoot and resolve basic equipment and process errors and recommend solutions by applying a wide variety of existing techniques, processes, and procedures to fulfil customer/operational requirements To provide on-call support to customers as and when required to ensure all equipment, machinery and tooling conform to the relevant standards and regulatory requirementsEnsure the technical integrity and performance of mechanical equipment and machinery at all timesUnderstand safety requirements and ensure all maintenance works and systems operate in line with Company, customer and industry safety standards Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure optimal operational performance and reduction of unplanned maintenanceGather, record, analyze, and summarize data in various formats and prepare reports of works/tasks performed as per Company and/or customer reporting requirements Responsible for ensuring that maintenance/works records are kept fully up to date with all additions/modifications recorded and support report preparation requirements as per Company and customer requirementsContribute to the creation and implementation of best practice maintenance processes and procedures to support enhancement of operational performanceEnsure compliance with all relevant (internal and external) regulations including HSEQ requirements using Company policies and procedures as appropriateMinimum Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma or vocational certification in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field Knowledge in aeronautics or machining would be a plusMinimum of five (5) years of relevant experiencePROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATION OR MEMBERSHIPs Relevant welding certification is advantageousNEBOSH certification is advantageous Special RequirementsProficient user of MS OfficeWhy come to Fives?
