Position: Electrician

Work Location: Dubai, UAE

Working Hours: 6 days( 8+1 hrs)

Salary: AED 1500 - 2500(Accommodation and Transportation provided)

Summary:

To install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components in residential, commercial, or industrial settings—ensuring safe, reliable, and code-compliant power distribution that supports daily operations and infrastructure needs.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the general upkeep of a building's electrical system. Required to inspect premises regularly, conduct routine maintenance, perform repairs, and fix faulty wiring when necessary. Will also be required to replace electrical appliances in buildings.
• Inspecting on a routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues.
• Determining the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem.
• Repairing electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity.
• Testing systems with devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible.
• Reviewing blueprints to understand the placement of wiring or to comprehend the working of the equipment to provide the right service and repairs.
• Providing suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks.
• Keeping records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used.
• Ensuring all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs.
• Performing duties according to the specified specification mentioned in the daily appointment sheet given by the coordinator and provide material list required for the job and giving a preliminary cost estimate.
• Installing and replacing of ELCB, MCB, MCCB, contractors of waterproof isolators, booster pump control panel and underwater lights.

Experience & Qualification

• Diploma in Electrician / Any equivalent Technical Certificate
• 4-5 years of experience
• Electrical System Knowledge
• Installation & Maintenance
• Tool Proficiency
