Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Safely operate light-duty vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, identifying and reporting any maintenance needs or safety issues promptly.
- Manage delivery schedules efficiently, ensuring timely arrivals and adherence to client timelines without compromising safety.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of goods to prevent damage during transit.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional certifications in transportation or logistics are a plus.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record, preferably with a certification in defensive driving.
- At least 2 years of experience in a driving role, with a focus on light-duty vehicles and local delivery.
- Familiarity with local traffic patterns and routes in the area is highly desirable for effective navigation.
