Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create detailed technical drawings and plans for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to translate conceptual designs into precise construction documents.
- Utilize CAD software to produce 2D and 3D models, optimizing designs for functionality and manufacturability.
- Revise and update drawings based on feedback from project managers and stakeholders, maintaining version control.
- Conduct site visits to gather measurements and assess existing conditions, ensuring designs are practical and feasible.
- Prepare project documentation, including specifications, schedules, and material lists, to facilitate smooth project flow.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations, identifying potential issues before they arise.
- Assist in the coordination of project timelines and deliverables, helping to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Maintain an organized archive of all drawings and documents, enabling easy access and reference for future projects.
- Provide support during the construction phase by answering queries and resolving issues related to the drawings.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks is essential for producing high-quality technical drawings.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience demonstrates a solid understanding of drafting practices and standards.
