J Ob Summary
The Director, Projects leads strategic project initiatives and oversees critical business transformation programs across Kerzner Internationals global operations. This position reports directly to the CEO and manages high-priority, cross-functional projects that drive organizational growth, operational excellence, and strategic objectives for the companys ultra-luxury hospitality portfolio including Atlantis, One&Only, SIRO, and Rare Finds brands worldwide. I addition to other project opportunities.
The role serves as the CEOs strategic project leader, coordinating complex initiatives that span multiple departments, properties, and geographic regions while ensuring alignment with Kerzners vision and business priorities. The position manages enterprise-wide transformation projects, technology implementations, process improvements, and strategic initiatives that require executive-level oversight and cross-organizational collaboration to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic project portfolio management for CEO-sponsored initiatives across all business units and geographic regions
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams involving Operations, Development, Marketing, Finance, and Technology departments
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for complex enterprise initiatives
- Manage strategic technology implementations, digital transformation projects, and operational improvement programs
- Provide executive-level project reporting, status updates, and strategic recommendations to the CEO and senior leadership
- Oversee change management processes and stakeholder engagement for organization-wide transformation initiatives
- Lead business process optimization projects to drive operational efficiency and guest experience enhancement
- Coordinate strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and external collaboration projects as directed by CEO
- Manage project budgets, resource planning, and vendor relationships for major enterprise initiatives
- Ensure project governance, risk management, and quality assurance across all strategic project deliverables
- Lead post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement
- Support merger and acquisition integration projects and due diligence activities as required
- Coordinate new property opening projects and brand launch initiatives across international markets
- Support in driving sustainability and ESG project initiatives aligned with corporate responsibility objectives
- Produce a PMO dashboards to provide visual oversight to board on project progress.
- Establish project management standards and best practices across the organization
- 4-5 years of project management experience with proven track record in executive-level initiatives
- Preferably a Masters degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field preferred
- Extensive experience managing complex, multi-million dollar projects in hospitality, consulting, or related industries
- Advanced project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent credentials preferred
- Proven experience with enterprise-wide transformation projects, technology implementations, and organizational change
- Strong background in strategic planning, business analysis, and process improvement methodologies
- Experience with international business operations and cross-cultural project management
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with ability to influence C-suite executives and board members
- Advanced proficiency in project management software, data analysis tools, and executive reporting platforms
- Strong understanding of luxury hospitality operations, guest experience, and industry best practices
- Experience with merger and acquisition integration projects and strategic partnership development
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines
