Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute a cohesive facilities management plan that aligns with the company s objectives in advancing AI-powered space technologies and enhancing operational efficiencies.
Spearhead facility-related projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, thereby supporting innovation and rapid business growth.
Ensure the seamless operation, maintenance, and security of all facilities, prioritizing safety and sustainability while adopting industry best practices.
Manage the facilities budget, employing highly efficient solutions and technologies to optimize resources, achieve revenue synergies and enjoy economies of scale.
Work with internal teams and external partners to drive facilities management initiatives that keep pace with our space technology advancements and strengthen the company's financial and technological position.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with facilities operations, ensuring full compliance with international legal and regulatory standards.
Establish metrics and KPIs for facilities operations, regularly monitoring, evaluating, and reporting performance to ensure the highest quality and efficiency standards.
Champion the implementation of AI-driven solutions in facilities management to streamline operational management and organizational capabilities.
Recommend ongoing improvements in facilities management practices, utilizing cutting-edge, AI-driven technology to set industry benchmarks for security, safety, sustainability, and cost & energy efficiency.
Maintain strong long-term relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure top-tier services and the best value for the organization.
Inspire and lead a team of facilities professionals, engendering a culture of innovation, teamwork, excellence, and efficiency in all facility operations.
Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards, ensuring all facilities and operations are fully compliant, positioning the company as a leader in the space-tech sector.
Desired Candidate Profile
Master s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field. Certification such as Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent.
Minimum of 10 years experience in facilities management, preferably within the space-tech or a related industry.
Proven expertise in project management, with a focus on operational efficiency and strategic planning. Strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, problem-solving capabilities, and a collaborative attitude.
Experience in leading facility operations across multiple locations or large-scale projects is a plus.
Willingness to travel as required for facility oversight and project coordination.
Capability to work in varying conditions.
Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and techniques for facility optimization.
Knowledge of compliance standards and safety regulations specific to large-scale operations.
Experience in sustainability initiatives and green building practices is preferred.
