Role Overview

Our client seeking an experienced Director to join our Data Centers Advisory practice, supporting hyperscalers, investors, governments, and operators in navigating the fast-evolving digital infrastructure landscape.

As a Director, you will play a pivotal role in originating and delivering client engagements, shaping the design and execution of data center projects, and collaborating with senior stakeholders across strategy, investment, engineering, and operations. You will also help grow the practice by developing market propositions, mentoring teams, and positioning the firm as a trusted advisor in the global data center ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities Client Engagement & Delivery
  • Lead large and complex advisory projects related to strategy, market entry, financial structuring, sustainability, and operational optimization of data centers.

  • Advise clients (sovereign funds, hyperscalers, REITs, telecoms, private equity investors) on digital infrastructure investment and operating models.

  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams (finance, real estate, technology, engineering) to deliver end-to-end solutions.

  • Ensure engagements are delivered to the highest standards of quality, timelines, and client satisfaction.

Business Development & Market Leadership
  • Drive business development efforts including proposal preparation, pitch participation, and pipeline management.

  • Build and maintain senior client relationships to identify new opportunities in data center strategy, investment, and operations.

  • Contribute to thought leadership by publishing insights, presenting at industry events, and representing the firm in the digital infrastructure market.

Practice & People Development
  • Support the Partner group in scaling the Data Centers Advisory practice, building capability in strategy, finance, ESG, and technical advisory.

  • Act as a people leader mentor, coach, and develop junior staff, ensuring career progression and technical excellence.

  • Collaborate across service lines (Transaction Advisory, Real Estate, Consulting, Technology, ESG) to deliver integrated client solutions.

Qualifications & Experience
  • 12+ years of experience in consulting, professional services, or industry, with a strong focus on data centers, cloud, telecoms, or digital infrastructure.

  • Proven experience in delivering large-scale advisory engagements (strategy, transaction, or operations-focused).

  • Strong exposure to one or more of the following:

    • Data center investment strategy & transaction advisory.

    • Real estate & infrastructure delivery (design, construction, commissioning).

    • Operational optimization, digital transformation, or sustainability frameworks for data centers.

  • Demonstrated success in business development, including pipeline building and deal closing.

  • Strong network with hyperscalers, investors, telecoms, and infrastructure operators.

  • Leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary consulting teams.

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Engineering, or Technology required; MBA or relevant advanced degree desirable.
