As a DevOps Engineer, you will be integral to the fusion of development and operations, playing a pivotal role in streamlining processes to drive efficiency and promote a culture of continuous improvement. In this position, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, testing, and deployment of software systems. Collaborating closely with developers, IT professionals, and other stakeholders, you will ensure the seamless integration of software operations and infrastructure. A successful candidate will possess a passion for automation, a solid understanding of both software development and deployment, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. Your goal will be to improve collaboration and productivity by automating infrastructure, operations, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and IT teams to establish continuous integration pipelines.
• Automate and optimize processes to improve operational efficiency and software delivery.
• Develop and maintain configuration management solutions for streamlined deployments.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions to maintain systems' health and performance.
• Manage, build and deploy operations for cloud infrastructure in various environments.
• Ensure secure and efficient system runtime environments for application deployment.
• Identify and troubleshoot software and infrastructure problems to maintain high availability.
• Coordinate with QA teams to integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines.
• Reduce IT operational costs by implementing innovative automation strategies.
• Document best practices and implement policies for DevOps processes and standards.
• Ensure compliance with security regulations and implement necessary security measures.
• Stay updated on the latest developments in DevOps methodologies and technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in a DevOps engineering role, preferably 3 years or more.
• Strong understanding of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Bamboo.
• Proficiency in deployment automation and managing cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Solid scripting skills in Shell, Python, or other scripting languages for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
