Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design visually appealing layouts and artwork using industry-standard software, ensuring brand consistency and client satisfaction.
- Operate and maintain printing machines, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting to produce high-quality printed materials.
- Prepare files for printing, optimizing them for specific printing processes and ensuring accurate color matching.
- Monitor print runs, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and minimize waste, ensuring the best possible outcome.
- Conduct regular machine maintenance and cleaning to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements, providing creative input and solutions.
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and printing technologies, recommending improvements to workflows and processes.
- Handle post-print finishing tasks such as cutting, binding, and packaging, ensuring a professional presentation.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in graphic design and printing operations, demonstrating hands-on expertise.
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Experience with various printing processes (offset, digital, etc.), understanding their nuances and capabilities.
- Strong understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles, producing visually stunning designs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot printing issues effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work, ensuring perfection in every print.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and collaborate with clients.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift materials, ensuring the smooth operation of printing tasks.
