Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create and modify detailed drawings for racking and shelving systems using AutoCAD and other design tools.
- Ensure designs are aligned with project specifications and client requirements.
- Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and corresponding cost sheets for proposed solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop competitive quotations for projects.
- Maintain records of sales leads, quotations, and design proposals in an organized manner.
- Coordinate with principals to obtain pricing, technical data, and design support.
- Liaise with the project execution and logistics teams to ensure smooth handover and implementation of projects.
- Validate stock availability with the logistics team prior to finalizing BOQs and quotations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 0–3 years in design and estimation, preferably in intralogistics or related industries
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D preferred).
- Basic understanding of intralogistics systems and components.
- Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Exposure to ERP or estimation software is a plus.
