Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Demi Chef de Partie to join our all-day dining restaurant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen operations and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
- Assist the Chef de Partie in overseeing daily kitchen operations for the all-day dining restaurant
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and culinary standards
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices are followed at all times
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during service hours
- Contribute to menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
- Monitor and maintain kitchen inventory, placing orders as needed
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Adapt to the changing needs of an all-day dining operation, from breakfast through dinner service
- Assist in implementing cost-control measures and reducing food waste
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout shifts
Desired Candidate Profile
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in all-day dining operations
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines and culinary techniques
- Proficiency in food preparation, presentation, and kitchen equipment operation
- Up-to-date food safety certification
- Excellent understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Team player with effective communication abilities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and food allergies
- Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences
