Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The role of Country Manager, will be to support the APMEA Region by:
- Promoting Lloyd s in Dubai (and the wider Middle East region) and provide strategic direction in conjunction with the Regional Director, APMEA.
- Create and demonstrate value to managing agents in helping them to develop their business in the country.
- Act as the eyes and ears of the managing agents in the region, understanding and reporting back information on the local insurance market, key business producers and providing soft market information which would be of benefit to managing agents.
- Delivering the annual plan for Dubai
- Supporting the contribution of Lloyd s Dubai to the APMEA strategic objectives.
- By increasing awareness of the regional potential for profitable growth to Lloyd s underwriters and encourage them to establish presence in the DIFC
- By encouraging regional capital to become part of the Lloyd s ecosystem whether in London, Dubai or elsewhere
