Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and sanitized, adhering to health and safety regulations to prevent accidents.
- Adjust cooking techniques and ingredient quantities based on dietary restrictions or customer requests, providing personalized dining experiences.
- Prepare garnishes and accompaniments that elevate the overall dining experience and enhance visual appeal.
- Prepare and execute recipes with precision, ensuring each dish meets quality standards and presentation expectations.
- Collaborate with team members to create daily specials and seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences.
- Participate in regular staff meetings to discuss menu updates, service improvements, and feedback from guests.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional cooking experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and dietary restrictions to cater to diverse clientele.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team setting while efficiently managing individual tasks and responsibilities.
- Fluent in English, with additional language skills considered an asset for communicating with diverse guests and staff.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and perform kitchen tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of multitasking and prioritizing during peak service hours.
- Positive attitude and resilience under pressure, fostering a supportive and motivating kitchen atmosphere.
