Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commercial function across exhibitions and conferences, ensuring delivery of sales and revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute sponsorship, exhibition, and non-space revenue strategies.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to the sales team.
  • Research market trends and competitor activity to introduce new sales innovations.
  • Oversee floor plan management, budget control, and CRM programmes to drive client engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with government bodies, industry associations, and key partners.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure seamless delivery and visitor promotion.
  • Implement governance processes, reporting, and commercial best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Sales Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7-8 years senior sales experience within the exhibitions industry.
  • Proven track record of driving commercial performance across large-scale events.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Financial acumen with experience in budget management and revenue forecasting.
  • Innovative, adaptable, and commercially strategic with a customer-first mindset.
