We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Commercial Director to lead the commercial success of two resorts in the Marsa Alam area, on Egypt s stunning Red Sea coast. This role is responsible for driving revenue and market share growth by overseeing Sales, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, and Digital functions across both properties.
As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will guide a talented commercial team, shape the positioning of both resorts, and bring our guest promise to life through innovative and effective commercial strategies.
Your Mission
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a unified commercial strategy that aligns with Accor s global priorities and local market opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and performance data to proactively adjust plans and maximize business potential.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure brand positioning, guest experience, and financial goals are met.
Sales & Revenue Performance
- Drive total revenue across accommodation, F&B, events, wellness, and experiences by leading proactive and reactive sales efforts.
- Strengthen relationships with key partners including B2B agencies, tour operators, corporate accounts, and travel trade.
- Work closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing, distribution, and forecasting.
Marketing, PR & Communications
- Lead creative and results-driven marketing campaigns that highlight the unique experiences and location of the resorts.
- Ensure brand-consistent messaging across all communication channels, including media, influencers, and social platforms.
- Represent the properties in key PR initiatives and partnerships to enhance visibility and market presence.
Digital Strategy & E-Commerce
- Oversee all digital marketing initiatives including content strategy, paid media, SEO/SEM, and performance tracking.
- Optimize the performance of direct digital channels (web, CRM, social) to drive engagement and conversions.
- Support guest loyalty and retention through integration of the ALL Accor Live Limitless program and digital tools.
Team Leadership
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing team of commercial professionals across both resorts.
- Create a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Act as a role model of Accor s values and leadership culture, promoting collaboration across all departments.
Desired Candidate Profile
Your Experience & Skills
- 10+ years of senior commercial leadership in the hospitality industry, ideally within resort or leisure-focused environments.
- Strong track record in sales, marketing, and digital strategy with a deep understanding of resort dynamics and customer segments.
- Experience in leading multi-property or cluster commercial operations is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to unite and inspire cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
- Familiarity with Accor systems is an advantage.
