As a CNC Operator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing team, ensuring precision and efficiency in the production process. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring that all parts meet quality standards. Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines to commence a production cycle based on work orders.
• Interface with engineering drawings and blueprints to interpret part specifications.
• Operate machinery for precision cutting, drilling, or shaping of materials effectively.
• Conduct routine machine maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Inspect and measure finished products against specifications using precise measuring tools.
• Adjust machine settings to improve production outcomes and reduce scrap rates.
• Maintain logs and records of operational procedures, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
• Comply with company safety policies and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
• Collaborate with quality control staff to troubleshoot and resolve any production issues.
• Train and mentor junior operators to enhance their skills and understanding of CNC operations.
• Respond promptly to machinery alarms and malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with CNC machines and operations, including G-code programming.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints to exact specifications.
• Proficient in using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Competency in basic math and computer skills for operating machinery interfaces.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in production tasks.
