DHA licensed Clinical Psychologist
with experience in Pediatric Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) for their client in Dubai which is a leading mental health center specializing in Pediatric ASD .We are looking for licensed Clinical Psychologists with a minimum of 3 years of experience with a deep understanding of ASD, including its symptoms, developmental impact, appropriate interventions and the ability to build rapport, provide education, and empower families to participate actively in their child's treatment.
Psychologists without Pediatric ASD experience would not qualify for this position. The Clinical Psychologists will design and implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the child's specific needs, such as social skills training, to address difficulties in communication and social interaction. Provide education, counseling, and support to families and caretakers, empowering them to understand and support their child's development and navigate challenges associated with ASD. Utilize complex psychological data to formulate detailed assessments and treatment plans, taking into account the child's unique strengths and challenges.
Advocate for the rights and well-being of children with ASD by collaborating with schools and community organizations to ensure they receive appropriate services, and opportunities. Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for children with suspected ASD, integrating information from clinical history, behavioral observations, psychological tests, and interviews with family members and caregivers to establish a diagnosis. Contribute to the development and evaluation of clinical services through audit, research, and the implementation of new initiatives to improve care for children with ASD.
Work as part of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with other professionals, such as educators, speech therapists, and occupational therapists, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to the child's care.
