Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily cleaning operations to ensure adherence to established standards of cleanliness and safety across all facilities.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules that maximize productivity while accommodating facility usage.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate cleaning staff to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Perform regular inspections of areas to identify cleaning needs and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all items are stocked, maintained, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to schedule deep cleaning and maintenance activities without disrupting operational flow.
  • Address and resolve any complaints or issues related to cleaning services promptly and professionally.
  • Prepare and manage cleaning budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and cost-effective practices.
  • Implement training programs focused on proper cleaning techniques, equipment handling, and safety procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and innovations in cleaning technologies to improve service quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in cleaning management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the cleaning or facility management industry.
  • Experience in managing teams, with a proven ability to motivate and lead diverse groups of employees.
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, alongside their safety protocols, is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective collaboration with different departments.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Proficient in basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and inventory management.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are an advantage, especially in multicultural environments.
  • Valid driver's license preferred for potential off-site responsibilities or supply management.
