Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and budgeting to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and contractors to align project objectives and resolve any technical challenges.
  • Oversee site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Manage stakeholder communications, keeping clients informed on project progress and addressing concerns proactively.
  • Implement risk management strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate potential project risks.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and quality control.
  • Prepare and present project reports, including financial performance, timelines, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitate procurement processes for materials and equipment, ensuring timely availability to meet project deadlines.
  • Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to contractual obligations and project specifications, facilitating dispute resolution when necessary.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with a Master's degree preferred for advanced projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil engineering project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and local regulations specific to the construction environment.
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) to enhance planning and tracking efficiency.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex project challenges.
  • Physical ability to conduct site visits and inspections, including navigating challenging terrains and conditions.
