Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure.
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and other data to plan projects accurately.
• Ensure work complies with local, state, and federal legal requirements and standards.
• Use design software to produce detailed designs and develop safety precautions.
• Monitor construction progress and provide reports on project status.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful completion.
• Coordinate with a team of engineers, architects, and stakeholders for cohesive planning.
• Conduct risk assessments to address environmental, geo-technical, and structural concerns.
• Prepare cost estimates and enforce cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
• Comply with environmental guidelines to promote sustainability in engineering solutions.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues to optimize designs and improve project efficiency.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients and construction teams throughout projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within a specified time.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction materials, and methods.
• Proficiency in civil engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for innovative project solutions.
