Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Job Location: Dubai. UAE

Position Overview

The COO will be responsible for driving operational performance, strategic growth, and organizational excellence across the group’s Passive Fire Safety and Automotive Services divisions. This role will work closely with the CEO and executive leadership to strengthen operational capabilities, expand market presence in the Middle East and Europe, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute long-term strategic plans aligned with corporate goals.
Lead regional expansion initiatives, particularly in the Middle East.
Support strategic decision-making with data-driven insights and market intelligence.

2. Operational Excellence

Direct day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and profitability.
Strengthen operational systems, SOPs, and project execution standards.
Implement best practices across all business units to enhance performance.

3. Team Management

Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to achieve operational targets.
Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Ensure teams are aligned with organizational goals and service standards.

4. Market & Industry Analysis

Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and competitor activities.
Provide timely insights to support strategic planning and operational decisions.

5. Financial Management

Work with the CFO to manage budgets, optimize costs, and improve margins.
Oversee operational forecasting, financial planning, and performance reviews.

6. Business Development

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and key accounts.
Support diversification initiatives and growth in new markets and segments.

7. Risk & Compliance Management

Develop and enforce risk mitigation strategies across all departments.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and certifications.

8. Stakeholder Engagement

Build strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, and regulators.
Represent the company at industry events, forums, and strategic meetings.

9. Performance Metrics

Define KPIs for operational efficiency, project delivery, and service quality.
Monitor and report performance to ensure continuous improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Experience

Master’s in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 7-15 years of senior leadership experience, preferably in fire safety, construction, automotive services, building materials, or related technical industries.
Proven success in managing multi-business operations and driving regional expansion.
Strong financial acumen, analytical skills, and operational leadership.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and people-management capabilities.
