Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The chief accountant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the accounts and for meeting the deadlines for submitting tax returns. These deadlines can represent an increased workload during the closing period.
Proficiency in accounting software and an ERP system is essential for the Chief Accountant. When involved in consolidating accounts, they must be familiar with accounting standards. English is often required and becomes indispensable when the company communicates with international partners.
Rigour, integrity, versatility, analytical and synthesis skills, initiative while demonstrating real organisational skills, team spirit and management skills are all qualities that a chief accountant must possess.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role (chief accountant or financial assistant)
Graduates from prestigious institutions
Age 35-50 years
Knowledge of hotel management techniques
