As a Chief Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our organization. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, the Chief Accountant will guide and manage the finance team to achieve strategic and operational objectives. Responsibilities

• Oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance.
• Lead and manage the accounting team, promoting high standards and efficiency.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for management review.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance accuracy.
• Coordinate and oversee the external audit process, responding to queries and concerns.
• Analyze financial trends and provide recommendations for business improvements and savings.
• Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and income statement accounts on a regular basis.
• Manage cash flow, forecasting future financial positions and liquidity needs.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Monitor and control internal budgets to ensure adherence to financial plans.
• Mentor and develop junior accounting staff, providing training and support as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in financial management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Experience working in a multi-national and multicultural environment is desirable.
