Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and quality standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff, ensuring smooth and efficient kitchen operations
  • Assist in menu planning, costing, and portion control
  • Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and presented in a timely and hygienic manner
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management and ordering
  • Enforce food safety and sanitation standards as per Dubai Municipality and HACCP guidelines
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Handle kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues
  • Collaborate with management to improve kitchen workflow and customer satisfaction

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Leadership and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Working with hot surfaces, sharp tools, and potentially hazardous equipment
