Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper Cum Accounting Clerk to manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities for our head office and all UAE subsidiaries. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with TALLY or similar accountancy ERP, sound knowledge of UAE VAT, and prior exposure to supporting annual audits and financial reporting. The role mandatorily requires flexibility to travel to our UAE branch offices on an as-needed basis for project-related work.


Employment Type : Full-time, Permanent employment at Nimex Holding Limited, DIFC (or Subsidiary)

Salary : AED 3,500 - AED 4,500 per Month depend on the candidate's qualifications and experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, Record and maintain up-to-date accurate financial transactions (including invoices, receipt, payments etc) in TALLY ERP.
  • Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with payroll processing & maintain compliance.
  • Assisting in preparation and file VAT returns in line with UAE tax regulations.
  • Maintain accounting records, general ledgers, and supporting documents.
  • Assist in preparing management reports and audit schedules monthly, quarterly & annually.
  • Coordinate with subsidiaries to ensure consistency in accounting practices.
  • Support external auditors during annual audits.
  • Handling inquiries from vendors, clients & internal departments relating payment and billing issues.
  • Perform general office tasks related to banking, financing, accounting & bookkeeping.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree / Internationally recognized qualification covering Accounting / Finance / Commerce (partly qualified candidates are also welcome to apply) & familiarity with basic accounting principles and bookkeeping practices.
  • Proven 3-4 years of experience in the UAE in accounting clerk / bookkeeping or a similar role.
  • Proficient in TALLY or similar accountancy ERP (mandatory) and MS Excel skills.
  • Good understanding of UAE VAT laws and compliance.
  • Experience assisting in audited financial reports.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and maintain confidentiality in sensitive financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision & time management
  • Ability to manage multiple activities.
