Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities.

• Perform functional, compatibility and security testing for Web3 wallet and smart contract systems.

• Design test plans, write test cases, and analyze and trouble shoot issues.

• Collaborate with the development team to improve testing processes and implement automation frameworks.

• Design and execute comprehensive manual and automated test strategies for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

• Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality benchmarks.

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium, Robot Framework, Playwright, and Appium integrated with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).

• Conduct end-to-end validation of wallet functionalities — including key generation, encryption, transaction verification, multi-signature approvals, and cross-chain transfers.

• Perform functional• Oversee API testing using Postman, validating integrations with blockchain nodes, payment gateways, and backend services.

• Ensure test documentation (plans, cases, defect reports) is detailed, traceable, and aligned with business requirements.

• Contribute to continuous improvement by analyzing test metrics, improving defect detection rates, and optimizing regression cycles.

• Ensure security and compliance testing for data integrity, authentication, and encryption protocols.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-5 years of software testing experience.

• Understanding Blockchain system architecture and awareness of common vulnerabilities and security risks.

• Experience with testing tools and automation scripts (e.g. Postman, Python, Hardhat) is a plus

• Prior experience testing smart contracts or blockchain applications is preferred.

• Strong proficiency in manual and automation testing across web, mobile, and API applications.

• Expertise in Selenium, Playwright, Appium, and Robot Framework.

• Experience in API testing tools such as Postman and backend validation using SQL/Oracle.

• Knowledge of blockchain, crypto wallets, and fintech systems.

• Ability to manage and lead QA projects, ensuring high standards of quality delivery.

• Hands-on experience with JIRA, TestRail, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Proficiency in English communication and strong collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
