Desired Candidate Profile

• Exceptional Customer Service: A natural ability to greet and engage with guests from diverse backgrounds in a friendly and professional manner. The candidate should be a people person who enjoys creating a personalized and memorable experience for every guest, from the moment they walk in until they leave.
• Technical Proficiency: A solid understanding of coffee brewing techniques, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and latte art. Experience with various coffee-making equipment is essential. Knowledge of both modern coffee trends and traditional Arabic coffee preparation is a significant advantage.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in drink preparation, ensuring consistency in quality, temperature, and presentation. Strong attention to detail is also required for order accuracy, cash handling, and maintaining an immaculately clean and organized work area.
• Multitasking & Efficiency: Proven ability to work calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should be able to manage multiple orders and customer inquiries simultaneously without compromising quality or service.
• Experience: Previous experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing role within a high-end restaurant or café is highly preferred. Experience within the UAE's hospitality sector is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of the local market and customer expectations.
• Cultural Awareness: An appreciation for and understanding of Emirati and regional cultural etiquette and customs. The candidate should be respectful and adaptable in interacting with a diverse clientele.
• Passion for Coffee & Tea: A genuine interest in the world of coffee and tea, including knowledge of different bean origins, roasts, and brewing methods. This enthusiasm should be apparent and can be shared with guests to enhance their experience.
• Professionalism: Impeccable personal hygiene and a professional, well-groomed appearance. The candidate should be reliable, punctual, and flexible with their work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Teamwork: A cooperative and collaborative spirit, willing to assist colleagues and work seamlessly with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
