Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Design and implement Azure solutions including IaaS, PaaS, cloud migration, and modernization
  • Manage and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container-based platforms
  • Implement Azure Data, Analytics & AI solutions (Azure SQL, Synapse, Fabric, OpenAI – exposure preferred)
  • Design and manage Azure network security architecture following Microsoft best practices
  • Configure and manage Azure security services including Defender for Cloud, Sentinel (SIEM), Azure Firewall, Key Vault, Application Gateway WAF, and Entra ID
  • Monitor network traffic, identify threats, and implement proactive security measures
  • Troubleshoot connectivity, performance, and security issues in hybrid (on-prem + Azure) environments
  • Collaborate with Cloud Architects, Security, and DevOps teams to integrate security into IaC deployments (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and runbooks
  • Provide L3 support for critical incidents ensuring minimal downtime

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and cloud security
  • Strong expertise in Azure Networking:
    VNet Peering, NSG, UDR, Load Balancers, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateway, Private Endpoints
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Security Services:
    Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Azure Firewall, Key Vault, Conditional Access
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, Routing & Switching, SD-WAN
  • Experience with Identity & Access Management (IAM) using Azure AD / Entra ID
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform is a plus
  • Microsoft certifications such as AZ-700, AZ-500, SC-200, SC-300 are a preferred
