Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Manage services such as EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudFormation, IAM, CloudWatch, and other AWS offerings.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and support application deployment using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.
- Ensure cloud security best practices, including identity management, encryption, and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to deliver seamless cloud solutions.
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and support for AWS cloud environments.
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions.
- Stay up to date with new AWS services and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, Route 53, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Proficiency in Linux/Windows system administration and shell scripting.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline).
- Good understanding of networking concepts (DNS, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPNs, Subnetting).
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
