Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Installation and maintenance: Install new wiring systems, electrical components like lights and gauges, and perform routine maintenance on batteries, alternators, and starter motors.
  • Diagnostics and repair: Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic tools and interpreting technical diagrams.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and repair a variety of electrical issues, including those related to engine ECM, lighting, and other vehicle-specific systems.
  • Safety and compliance: Adhere to all health and safety standards, ensuring work complies with industry regulations.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all work performed.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience as an auto electrician, with a specialization in industrial or heavy equipment preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of modern electrical systems in vehicles and heavy machinery.
  • Proficiency in using electrical diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to interpret and work from technical diagrams and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex electrical issues.
