Job Description

The role of an Assistant Maintenance Manager is pivotal in ensuring the seamless operation and longevity of facilities within an organization. Acting as the bridge between maintenance workers and the top management, the Assistant Maintenance Manager aids in the development, implementation, and monitoring of efficient maintenance processes. Responsibilities
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning and executing maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Oversee daily operational facilities maintenance to ensure minimal disruption to work processes.
  • Coordinate with various departments to schedule routine and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Implement and monitor the upkeep of all preventive maintenance programs in place.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues promptly, minimizing downtime and cost.
  • Audit and ensure all maintenance tasks comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Supervise and train maintenance staff to improve technical skills and efficiency.
  • Maintain records of all maintenance work to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Assist in the procurement and inventory management of maintenance tools and supplies.
  • Monitor budgetary constraints and assist in cost management for maintenance projects.
  • Collaborate with external vendors to manage repairs and equipment installations effectively.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance operations or management roles.
  • Comprehensive understanding of maintenance procedures, tools, and equipment.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a dynamic team.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects effectively.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to maintenance.
  • Proficient in using maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
