Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the head chef in preparing ingredients, ensuring they are fresh and properly stored to maintain quality.
- Execute basic cooking techniques, such as chopping, frying, and boiling, under the supervision of senior kitchen staff.
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by adhering to hygiene standards and regularly sanitizing surfaces and equipment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent is required; culinary school graduates preferred for formal training.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen setting to demonstrate familiarity with basic cooking procedures.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills are necessary to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential personal qualities that contribute to a harmonious kitchen.
