Artificial Intelligence - Lead Visiontech Systems International L.L.C

Position Overview

Visiontech Systems International LLC is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking AI Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence solutions across the company and for our clients. This role is responsible for defining the AI strategy, building scalable AI capabilities, and translating business needs into practical, high-impact AI solutions.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership ability and a commercial mindset, and can work closely with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable value through AI initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

1. AI Strategy & Leadership

• Define and own the company’s AI vision, roadmap, and execution strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve products, services, internal operations, and customer outcomes.
• Act as the internal subject matter expert for AI, advising leadership and stakeholders on trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing AI/ML team.

2. Solution Design & Development

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI and ML models for real-world business use cases.
• Select appropriate algorithms, architectures, and frameworks based on business and technical requirements.
• Ensure models are robust, secure, explainable, and production ready.
• Oversee data pipelines, model training, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management (MLOps).

3. Data & Engineering Collaboration

• Work closely with data engineers, software developers, and cloud teams to integrate AI into existing platforms and workflows.
• Ensure data quality, governance, privacy, and compliance standards are maintained.
• Promote best practices in model development, versioning, monitoring, and retraining.

4. Stakeholder & Business Engagement

• Translate business challenges into AI solutions with clear ROI and performance metrics.
• Partner with sales, presales, and solution architects to support client proposals and demonstrations.
• Engage with customers to understand needs and ensure successful adoption of AI solutions.

5. Governance, Ethics & Risk

• Establish AI governance frameworks, including ethical use, bias mitigation, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and manage risks related to data security, model bias, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or AI engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
• Experience with NLP, computer vision, predictive analytics, or generative AI (depending on business focus).
• Solid understanding of data engineering, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and MLOps tools.
• Experience deploying AI models into production environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python (mandatory); SQL and other languages are a plus.
• Experience working in B2B, enterprise, or systems integration environments is preferred.

Preferred / Added Advantage

• Proven experience in building AI processes, frameworks, or platforms.from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with designing end-to-end AI pipelines, from data collection to deployment and monitoring.
• Exposure to implementing AI in enterprise or B2B systems integration environments.

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
