An Architect/Interior Designer specializing in Fit-Out is sought to join our dynamic design team. This role requires a skilled professional adept at combining creativity, technical knowledge, and practical experience in interior design and architecture. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong ability to create aesthetically pleasing spaces, and a commitment to excellence in delivering client-specific interior solutions. You will work closely with clients and project teams to design and execute fit-out projects that reflect client visions while adhering to functional and budgetary criteria. As part of our collaborative team, you will engage in a myriad of tasks, from conceptualization through to project completion, ensuring that each project is delivered to our rigorous quality and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of interior fit-out projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with clients to understand and interpret their design requirements and objectives.
• Create detailed design plans, including layouts, materials, and finishes specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients for approval and feedback.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to design, safety, and quality standards.
• Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure efficient use of resources.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in interior design and architecture.
• Compile and review detailed drawings and specifications for project implementations.
• Facilitate client meetings and site visits to ensure ongoing satisfaction and address issues.
• Mentor and support junior designers and assistants in their professional development.
• Participate in post-occupancy evaluations to gather feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field is required.
• Proven experience in fit-out projects within the interior design industry.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design creativity and technical competency in past projects.
• Proficiency in design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and teams.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
• Understanding of building codes, regulations, and sustainability principles.
• High level of creativity paired with a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
