As an Aluminium Facade Estimator, you will play a critical role in the construction and architectural industries, where precision and accuracy are paramount. This position is integral in preparing and delivering detailed estimates for aluminium facade projects, with a keen focus on cost-effectiveness, quality, and timeline compliance. Your expertise in interpreting architectural drawings and building specifications is essential in assessing the material, labor, and time requirements for each project. Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural drawings and specifications to prepare accurate project estimates.
• Develop comprehensive cost analyses for aluminium facade projects, considering all materials and labor.
• Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to source competitive pricing and evaluate quotes.
• Coordinate with project managers to align estimates with project objectives and constraints.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and presentations for project stakeholders and clients.
• Track and update project costs and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with construction and design teams to ensure feasibility and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain and update a database of costs for materials, subcontractors, and construction services.
• Provide detailed reports on cost estimates and financial forecasts to management.
• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to estimates during project execution.
• Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in aluminium facade construction techniques.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations in all estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, ideally with facades.
• Strong understanding of aluminium facade systems and related construction processes.
• Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in estimation software and computer-aided design (CAD) tools is essential.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines consistently.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
