Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Administration Manager will oversee and manage all administrative functions related to labour camps, fleet management, and general office administration. The role ensures smooth operations, compliance with regulations, cost-effectiveness, and the well-being of employees accommodated in company facilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Responsibilities

Labour Camp Management

  • Oversee daily operations of labour camps including accommodation, catering, housekeeping, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and municipality regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of camp occupancy, staff allocation, and facility conditions.
  • Handle grievances of camp residents and resolve issues promptly.
  • Liaise with contractors/suppliers for camp services (cleaning, catering, maintenance).

Fleet Management

  • Manage the company’s fleet of vehicles, including buses, pickups, and light/heavy vehicles.
  • Develop preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and ensure roadworthiness.
  • Monitor fuel usage, mileage, and driver performance to control operational costs.
  • Ensure all vehicles are registered, insured, and comply with RTA/local authority regulations.
  • Supervise drivers and coordinate transportation needs for staff and materials.

General Administration

  • Manage office facilities, security, utilities, and supplies.
  • Supervise administrative support staff, drivers, and camp supervisors.
  • Develop and implement policies for cost control, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Prepare periodic reports on camp occupancy, fleet utilization, and administrative expenses.
  • Support HR in onboarding, employee welfare, and discipline matters related to accommodation and transport.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration / Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in administration, with at least 5 years in labour camp & fleet management.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, municipality rules, health & safety regulations, and transport compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multicultural workforce and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
