As an Administration Coordinator with the Medical Benefits team, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to the Manager relating to the function of medical services for a smooth and efficient day to day running of the department.
In This Role, You Will
- Liaise and co-ordinate with the HR Shared Services team with regards to onboarding and Medical Benefits eligibility for employees and their dependant, where applicable
- Respond and communicate effectively to queries from various internal and external stakeholders with regards to the current medical benefits policy. The information requires recording and proper dissemination of information to provide an acceptable service level in line with the published terms and conditions and contractual operating procedures
- Administer online databases in line with published terms and respective data privacy regulations.
- Investigate, co-ordinate and escalate where required, any complaints received from internal or external stakeholders on medical service delivery issues and medical benefit related issues.
- Produce and issue standard letters relating to member insurance and service provider correspondence.
- Provide consistent and accurate customer service to eligible members over email or telephone, managing queries within the agreed turnaround times using published resources to maintain quality.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Degree in nursing, pharmacy, or equivalent medical field
- 4+ years relevant work experience in a clinical or medical insurance field.
- Experience in Medical claims processing and pre-approval.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Proficient in using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
