Function and Scope

Responsible for managing & supervising the activities of the Accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely
recording and reporting of the company transactions per International Accounting Standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the

• Production of monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Bank reconciliations,
  cash flow, and commentary on variances against budgets and forecasts.
• Ongoing review of cash flows, preparing cash forecasts and analysis.
• Follow up the implementation of financial and accounting procedures, commitment to the implementation of
  regulations and internal systems of the company, directing all accounting operations, and overseeing the
  preparation of budgets and financial centers and periodic financial reports.
• Oversees the daily accounting activities required to maintain the Authority s general ledger.
• Supervises directs, and reviews the work of the accounting staff (including, but not limited to, cash
  reconciliations, account statement reconciliations, check runs, accounts receivable transactions, fixed asset
  activity, accounts payable transactions, debt activity, recording of revenue and expenses, etc.
• Maintain, implement, and improve the BU QHSSE Management System in line with Corporate QHSSE
  Policies, Objectives, Manuals, and Procedures, integration with business operations, and ISO Standard
  requirements (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001).
• Promote the QHSSE Culture to achieve the best QHSSE performance that safeguards human health,
  operational safety, and protection of the environment and resources, all while delivering world-class quality
  products and services.
• Report QHSSE risks and impacts, carry out assigned tasks and duties in accordance with QHSSE Standards
  and KPIs, and ensure the personal safety of personnel under their Authority at all times.

Competencies, Knowledge, and Experience

• Proven work experience as an Accounting Supervisor.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts, and using advanced
  formulas)
• Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, laws, and regulations
• Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Team management skills
• Ability to prioritize work
