Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and statements to provide insights into the company's financial standing.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure they are properly documented for audits.
  • Support the accounts payable and receivable processes by verifying invoices and processing payments efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to reconcile discrepancies in accounts and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between financial records and bank statements.
  • Utilize accounting software to input and manage data, ensuring information is current and accessible.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of accounting processes.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred to ensure foundational knowledge.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance roles to demonstrate practical skills.
  • Candidates should ideally have experience with accounting software like QuickBooks or SAP for effective performance.
  • Experience in the industry of finance, retail, or services will provide context to the role's responsibilities.
