Roles & Responsibilities


Job Overview:


We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Accountant cum Admin Officer to join our team at Steeltech Fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations as well as overseeing general administrative tasks to ensure the smooth running of office operations. This is a dual-role position that requires multitasking ability, organizational efficiency, and financial accuracy.


Key Responsibilities:


Accounting Duties:

  • Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping, including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and manage VAT filings, invoices, debit/credit notes, and ensure compliance with UAE tax laws.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor cash flow and coordinate with the Commercial Director on payables and receivables.
  • Handle petty cash and prepare expense reports.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting.
  • Maintain vendor and client accounts and coordinate payments and collections.

Administrative Duties:


  • Manage office supplies, renewals (licenses, insurances), and facility coordination.
  • Assist with employee records, visa renewals, and coordination with PRO for labor and immigration formalities.
  • Maintain organized records, documents, and filing systems—both physical and digital.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodation, and scheduling for staff when needed.
  • Support HR tasks such as onboarding new employees, attendance tracking, and leave management.
  • Liaise with external agencies, banks, auditors, and suppliers as required.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and admin roles.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books) and MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of basic HR and office admin procedures is an added advantage.
