Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business unit strategies aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
  • Set the bid strategy, effectively managing the customer RFP/RFQ/RFI processes, bidding & tendering, and overseeing all contracts related to customer.
  • Manage P&L responsibilities for assigned business units, ensuring profitability and sustainable growth.
  • Be the focal point for the customer in the relevant business unit.
  • Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams in the business unit, building complex commercial proposals efficiently and on time.
  • Effectively manage contract negotiations with customers, ensuring the most profitable commercial terms, mitigating risks, and managing compliance.
  • Drive operational excellence through process optimization and team development
  • Participate in relevant industry forums, events, and exhibitions as a thought leader and expert.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and commercial partners.
  • Develop and maintain business metrics and KPIs to track performance
  • Update the business pipeline, supporting the overall department strategy and meeting budget requirements.
  • Monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics or Engineering, or Bachelor in Business Administration.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar.
  • 5+ years of experience in a combination of sales, pre-sales, product development positions.
  • 2+ years of experience in the satellite industry with technical and commercial knowledge of naval, airborne and land military applications.
  • Proven track record in P&L management and business unit leadership.
  • Experience in leading technical teams and managing complex projects.

Additional Requirements

  • Excellence in strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
  • English - Berlitz Level 8, IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 550 or equivalent.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and product development.
  • Proven negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
