Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems including split units, VRF systems, and centralized HVAC systems.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in AC units and related equipment.
- Monitor and maintain temperature and humidity levels in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Ensure compliance with hotel safety standards and local regulations during all maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to guest and staff complaints regarding air conditioning issues and resolve them efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and spare parts inventory.
- Collaborate with other engineering team members for integrated maintenance of hotel facilities.
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment safely, following manufacturer guidelines.
- Provide technical support during special events or high-occupancy periods to ensure comfort and reliability.
Desired Candidate Profile
Candidate Profile:
- Technical Certification or Diploma in HVAC systems, refrigeration, or air conditioning from a recognized institute.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in AC maintenance and repair, preferably in hospitality or luxury property settings.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques for split, VRF, and centralized systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics for installation and repair work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet hotel standards.
