Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Precisely fabricate dimensional letters and logos from various metals like stainless steel, aluminum, and brass using MIG and TIG welding techniques to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
- Interpret detailed shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications to accurately translate designs into tangible letter forms, ensuring adherence to project requirements.
- Perform precise cutting, bending, and shaping of metal materials using specialized equipment such as shears, brakes, and plasma cutters, maintaining tight tolerances.
- Execute meticulous welding procedures, including proper joint preparation, welding parameters adjustment, and post-weld cleanup, to achieve high-quality welds.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a high school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundational understanding of technical concepts.
- Holds a certification in welding (MIG and TIG), demonstrating proficiency in essential welding techniques and procedures.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication, showcasing practical skills and industry knowledge.
- Exhibits experience within the signage or architectural fabrication industry, indicating familiarity with relevant materials and processes.
