Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Oversee the safe navigation and operation of the yacht, ensuring compliance with maritime laws and regulations.
Manage the crew effectively, including hiring, and conducting performance evaluations to foster a cohesive working environment.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all onboard systems, ensuring the yacht operates at peak performance.
Create and manage the yacht's budget, including provisioning, fuel management, and crew salaries, to maintain financial health.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Must possess a valid Master 3000GT or higher certification, demonstrating expertise in yacht navigation and operation.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior captain role on similar-sized vessels, showcasing hands-on leadership skills.
- Strong educational background in marine studies or nautical science is preferred, ensuring a solid understanding of the industry.
- Proven experience in managing a diverse crew, emphasizing leadership, conflict resolution, and teamwork capabilities.
