Roles & Responsibilities

Job description
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Position Overview & Key Duties:
Spearheading the creation of compelling project proposals and delivering persuasive presentations to stakeholders, fostering confidence and enthusiasm in clients through dynamic storytelling and innovative design solutions.
Overseeing project proposals, contracts, and timelines to ensure optimal allocation of design resources. Conducting weekly team check-ins to assess workload and adjust priorities as needed, providing strategic guidance to ensure seamless project progression.
Managing external talent by sourcing and onboarding freelancers when necessary, ensuring their rates align with budgetary constraints and internal standards. Securing executive approval for all external engagements.
Mentoring a diverse team of designers (senior, mid-level, and junior), holding regular meetings to maintain design consistency and excellence from initial concept to final execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Acting as the primary liaison among project stakeholders and consultants, gathering and disseminating critical project details while ensuring cohesive integration of all inputs.
Collaborating with specialized vendors to validate feasibility and constructability of complex installations.
Overseeing the handoff of design intent to technical and visualization teams, ensuring deliverables meet client expectations with precision.
Maintaining rigorous quality control for all outgoing design documentation.
Establishing and refining company-wide standards and procedures to streamline workflows and uphold quality.
Guaranteeing all contractual deliverables are executed to the highest caliber.
Tracking project progress to ensure adherence to deadlines, providing senior leadership with updates on project health, and implementing corrective measures when necessary.
Serving as the first point of contact for client concerns, addressing issues promptly and driving continuous improvement.
Team Leadership & Development:
Leading recruitment efforts for the design team, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and negotiating employment terms.
Managing HR-related matters, including performance reviews, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions, with administrative HR support as needed.
Assessing team performance through structured evaluations, identifying growth opportunities, and recommending compensation adjustments based on merit.
Organizing training sessions to enhance team skills, covering areas such as presentation techniques, material expertise, and post-project reviews.
Operational & Financial Oversight:
Monitoring departmental expenditures (salaries, outsourcing costs, etc.) to ensure fiscal responsibility and proposing cost-saving measures where applicable.
Cultivating a supportive and motivating workplace culture, addressing team concerns, and advocating for employee well-being. Acting as a representative of the company s values and vision.
