Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, filling imperfections, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion and a flawless finish.
  • Expertly mix paints, stains, and lacquers to match specified colors and achieve the desired aesthetic effects, including custom finishes.
  • Operate and maintain spray painting equipment, including HVLP and airless sprayers, ensuring proper function and cleanliness for consistent results.
  • Apply paint coatings evenly and accurately to various wood products, such as furniture, cabinetry, and architectural millwork, adhering to quality standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required to understand instructions and safety protocols.
  • Relevant vocational training or certification in wood finishing or spray painting is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in wood spray painting, with a minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of various wood coatings, including lacquers, stains, and varnishes is essential.
