Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Wood Polisher to join our client’s team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, polishing, and finishing wooden surfaces to achieve high-quality results for furniture, fixtures, and custom woodwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare wooden surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and applying base coats
• Mix and apply stains, sealants, lacquers, and varnishes using brushes, spray guns, or cloths
• Buff and polish wood to achieve desired sheen and smoothness
• Inspect finished surfaces for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain polishing tools and equipment in good working condition
• Collaborate with carpenters and production staff to meet project timelines
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Qualification & Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in wood polishing or furniture finishing.
• Hindi speaking candidates preferred.
• Familiarity with various types of wood and finishing materials.
• Skilled in manual and machine polishing techniques.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to handle polishing equipment.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
